        Victorious SMU team with the judges of the 2025 Jessup moot
        SMU 2025 Jessup moot team with the judges after winning the championship trophy since Singapore’s last victory in 2001. The team comprised Lovein Sui (LLB, final year); Elizabeth Ho (LLB, final year); Genieve Wu (LLB, final year); Raelee Toh (LLB, final year); and Erica Wee (LLB, final year). A key factor driving the moot success at SMU YPHSL is the Ian R Taylor International Moots Programme, which has firmly established the law school on the global stage. This programme has nurtured generations of mooters who have earned numerous world-class accolades, enabling it to consistently excel at the most prestigious international moots.


          BSI received grant from Civil Service College on 11 May 2010
          The newly-established Behavioural Sciences Institute (BSI) at SMU received a S$4.5 million grant from the Civil Service College. The funds, to be disbursed to the BSI through the Civil Service College over a three-year period, will be used to build Singapore's capabilities in behavioural sciences by supporting the Institute's activities in research, training and education, as well as industry outreach and application. Mr Lionel Yeo, Dean & CEO of the Civil Service College and Deputy Secretary of the Public Service Division and Professor David Chan, Director of BSI and Deputy Provost of SMU at the signing ceremomy on 11 May 2010.

              SMU Challenge 2010 flagging off from LKCSB building
              SMU Challenge was a charity walkathon held on 10 October 2010 to raise funds. Organized by SMU's Special Interest and Community Service Sodality organized the SMU Challenge 2010 which rallied the SMU community – from senior management, staff faculty to students and alumni to raise funds for daily necessities and cash for needy elderly staying in one-room HDB flats. In the photograph, SMU President is flagging off the participants from Lee Kong Chian School of Business building.

                    Wharton-SMU Research Centre Agreement
                    Signing ceremony held on 10 June 1999 at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel to establish the Wharton-Singapore Management University Research Centre.                           Preserving Trees at City Campus

Among the 1,819 students earning degrees is the pioneer batch of 106 bachelor of law graduates, the pioneer batch of 18 juris doctor graduates, and SMU’s first doctoral graduate who earned a PhD in information systems. SMU awarded 288 master's degrees and 1,531 bachelor's degrees. The event was held at Suntec City over two days in July 2012.
