                      SMU and National Library Board Agreement
                      The National Library Board and Singapore Management University sign a memorandum of understanding on 3 September 1999. Under the terms of the agreement, NLB will plan and manage library and information services for the university.                                           Agreement with SCCI
                                          A group of Singapore Management University undergraduates organise SMU’s first student-run service project, Project Primate. As part of the community service module in their leadership and team building course, they adopted a baby Sumatran orang utan from the Singapore Zoological Gardens and raised funds for wildlife conservation. The students are shown here at the zoo with their “adoptee” and its mother, Ah Meng, in June 2001.
